Allison helps aspiring and established womenpreneurs across the UK to transform their businesses.

Allison founded the Hampshire Winning Women networking group in 2004 as she believes networking is essential to the growth of any business.

Allison firmly believes that establishing a strong network and active networking are essential elements in the growth of any business. In 2004 she founded the Hampshire Winning Women networking group to help women do just this.

As a womanpreneur herself for the past 6 years, she appreciates that success always doesn’t come easily; hard work, commitment and regular large doses of self belief are continually needed to ensure success.

In 2010 she founded the Hampshire Winning Women Business Awards, to bring together women behind Hampshire’s most innovative and successful small businesses, to acknowledge the contribution they have made to the community, to the local economy and receive the recognition they deserve.

Tracy Harris

Tracy Harris is the founder of My Virtual Concierge and MVC Accounting Solutions, based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Tracy set up MVC to help busy individuals regain precious time; a commodity that is becoming rare within our ever increasingly busy lives. Her clients range from busy single professionals to celebrities throughout the UK, but her main focus is helping small businesses to grow by providing valuable Personal Assistant services. Tracy says ‘Most of my customers are self-employed women who are on the cusp of expansion and need an additional pair of hands to help their business grow, or manage their household without the increasing costs and regulations of employing a member of staff - we provide that solution.

When approached by Allison to judge the Hampshire Winning Women Business Awards
Tracy says:
“I thought why me? Who am I to judge the achievements of others?” and then I took the meaning of the awards and applied it to myself - I took a long hard look at the journey I had taken with my own businesses and then I understood - I’d come a very long way and my achievements were being recognised and honoured by others and that’s why I’d been asked. “I love every minute of awards and I goosebump when I scan the room at all those marvellous, amazing and inspirational women staring back at me”.

Jane Cooke

Jane is passionate about helping women dress with confidence.

Having used an image consultant herself in her thirties, she attributes the success and lifestyle she enjoys today, to the confidence that dressing well has given her.

She created DRESS REHEARSAL as a way of helping other women to find a look that suits them helping them to feel more confident everyday.

Operating as an independent consultant, Jane knows only too well the sheer dedication, determination and desire to succeed that comes with running a successful small business.

Jane says:

Helen McCusker

After several years managing the in-house publicity department for an independent publisher, Helen McCusker launched her first business Booked PR in 2008.

Prior to this Helen worked as a broadcast journalist, presenting programmes and news bulletins across the South coast. Mixing her media background with publishing expertise has created a unique book publicity agency. Helen now works with publishers and authors across the world to promote a wide range of titles and has secured a mass of high profile media coverage for her clients.

This will be Helen’s first year as a judge of the awards and she is really looking forward to helping to publicise the event.
